Rise and shine Whatcom County

February 4, 2015 By Admin

Rise and shine Whatcom County! Take My Hand At-Home care has launched a brand new bundle package that is helping local senior citizens start their day in a great way.

Experienced caregivers are available to help seniors with personal care tasks like bathing, dressing, meal preparation and medication monitoring – all in the comfort of their own home.

Yes it’s true, the majority of seniors dream of staying in their own home during the aging process – they want to “age-in-place” and continue living the lifestyle they are comfortable with for as long as possible.

Aging-in-place takes planning, and often a bit of help is needed along the way. Take My Hand services help make that dream a reality.

“Our clients find comfort knowing that Take My Hand caregivers have been to their loved one’s home to check in and help them get their day started. They like knowing we are on-site monitoring the home for safety and checking on the well-being of their parent or grandparent when they can’t be there,” reports Sue Sorensen, owner of Take My Hand At-Home Care.

If you’d like to learn more about hiring local caregivers to help an elderly loved one at home, contact Sue Sorensen. She’ll provide a complimentary needs assessment and help you decide if the Rise and Shine package is right for your unique situation.
